Moon & Bloom Book Club

📚 Not Your Average Book Club

Join us for a quarterly book club focused on menstruality, reproductive justice, and all the things we wish we learned sooner. We’ll meet every few months to chat about a book, share thoughts, and discuss how to dismantle the patriarchy. LOL but really, that might come up.

You don’t have to be a super-reader — come whether you’ve finished the book, half-read it, or just want to listen in (yes you can listen to the audio book too).

✨ Free to join, but registration is required so we don’t overfill the space.
✨ Doors open at 6:45 PM, discussion starts at 7 PM
✨ In person at Moon & Bloom; 159 King St Unit 110

In Lieu of payment, please bring a friend, a snack to share (allergen-aware, please!), or a contribution to the Period Library — that could be a book, or unopened period products. All ages and genders are welcome. Disrespect or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated

Please note: the space is down a flight of stairs and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

First meet-up is November 13th— Period Repair Manual by Lara Briden!

The "Period Repair Manual" by Lara Briden is a guide to understanding and improving menstrual health using natural treatments. It offers advice on how to manage various period problems, including coming off hormonal birth control, and covers topics like diet, supplements, herbal medicine, and bioidentical hormones. The book is written for women of all ages and situations, providing a holistic approach to understanding and addressing period-related issues.

(books are not supplied, but please indicate in your registration if you’d like me to check if my period library has an extra copy for your borrowing! I have linked my fav indie bookshop above)

Can’t make this date? Want to read ahead? Keep scrolling for the next few upcoming club meetings and book details.
